When it comes to after care for your hair, home hair care is a particularly important choice. As hair is an important statement to most people investing in home hair care can literally make or break your hair. Most people push their hair to its limits so taking care of it in the aftermath is super important.

At Circles we aim to educate our clients as to best care for their hair. This starts with your home hair care routine; shampoo is fare more than just bubbles in a bottle and has a bigger role than just cleansing. With quality products you can treat problems and improve the overall integrity of your hair making your life easier and your hair more enjoyable.

In this blurb we wanted to give you a simple run down of how products vary and what you get for your money these. As advertising is very cleaver it is hard to know what to invest in and what will work. The simple matter is when purchasing from your salon you are guaranteed quality products with a prescription to match your individual needs and concerns.

As choice is an abundance choosing the right product is tough, at Circles we believe a healthy scalp equals healthy hair. Not many people know that scalp care is just as important if not more important than hair care. Many people have scalp concerns and deciphering which product to match the right concern can be tricky.

At Circles we have the privilege to work with one of the top scalp care brands Kerastase. Kerastase is dedicated to the diagnosis and recommending the correct product to match the concern. We have technology that allows us to look closely at the scalp using a diagnostic camera. Come in and visit us for a free hair and scalp consultation.

Copper can mean anything from fiery copper to soft strawberry, deep ginger to a copper penny. When it comes to creating a fashion colour having the right base to work off is everything. Copper does not need to be a global colour, you can start by introducing new tones to your ombre or balayage.

Gracie’s blonde weft transformation Thu, 23 Jul 2020 09:35:46 +0000 Gracie’s blonde weft transformation Read More »

Our client Gracie is hyper aware of trend thanks to her status as one of Perth’s social media queens. Her followers expect her to be an early adopter and style leader so our objective with all of her transformations is to rework appealing trends to work in with her lifestyle and personal taste. She relies on us as her salon to provide guidance and consultation around her next look and trusts us with her colour transformations having built up a strong relationship.  As a new mum she hasn’t been into the salon as frequently as normal, a common issue for our busy Circles clients, so her colour was extremely grown out and ready for a refresh. She has also been wearing clip in extensions to her events and for photography but was looking for something with great longevity to better suit her busy lifestyle, which would still give a natural finish.

We decided to take Gracie back to a true blonde, however we wanted to move away from a subtle balayage and play with something more dramatic, selecting a dreamy baby blonde to lighten up the face and give her an amazing glow. Gracie has quite fine hair so extensions for her are an essential, but fortunately the hair is in excellent health, thanks to our tailored product recommendations, so we were able to focus on the aesthetic change of adding length and thickness and changing colour.

To achieve this look we started by selecting the #60 Platinum Blonde wefts to achieve the desired shade. I love to work with L’Oreal Professional Smartbond as it is so strengthening to the hair which is crucial when working with extensions. I then worked to seamlessly integrate 5 rows of Showpony Wefts in the 20 Inch length to provide the thickest yet most natural result. These were first prepped with L’Oreal Platinium + 30 vol + Majimeche + 20 vol every 2nd foil on her ends, toning with Richesse 8 + 8,13 + 9 vol for an ultra-subtle root blend. Once these were sewn in, I was able to finish with Gracie’s trademark tumbling curls. With so much time in front of the camera her hair must always be looking the best and I am so proud of the result!

Global celebrity hair colour trends are being made right here in Australia, as TV and film star Katherine Langford, famous for her work in 13 Reasons Why and Love Simon, opted for a bright red hair transformation, and made headlines in the process. The change was courtesy of Perth salon business Circles of Hair, known for their influencer and celebrity clientele and ability to dominate online conversations. The change was courtesy of Sharlene Lee and Jessica Del Borrello.

“I’ve been looking after Katherine’s hair since she was at school,” Sharlene said of the Aussie actress. “She came into the salon for a big chop and we decided to go for a massive colour change. We both decided copper tones is the way to go as her skin tones are perfect for this colour. Three days later she was back into the salon for the transformation, before heading to London.”

We previously reported that copper is being heralded as the bona fide hue of 2019, and Katherine opted for the trending colour with this trusted salon behind the chair. The change acts as the ideal evolution to those with natural dark brown hair, and Circles of Hair utilised Inoa and L’Oréal Professionnel for optimal results.

“There are so many different ranges of colour when it comes to the copper tones. You can have a dark copper or a very light copper, it’s just that easy,” Sharlene said.

The new look captured national and international attention, with features on local Perth-based websites such as Perth Now, entertainment focused publications such as NovaPedestrian TV and Bustle and fashion and beauty sites such as Ellemarie clairePop Sugar and Cosmopolitan. Katherine represents one of Australia’s brightest rising stars, and her international screen work and social media following (she boasts over 13 million Instagram followers) makes her a beauty influencer and authority. Katherine’s latest snap showcasing the rich copper hues in her hair garnered over 2 million likes.

As copper takes over the internet and your favourite celebrities’ feeds, you’ll be seeing the colour request and images like Katherine’s pop up in your chair. Circles of Hair will be a leading salon transforming clients and revolutionising trends this season, we urge you to follow in their footsteps.
