BTS: L’Oreal Style & Colour Trophy Shoot 2024

We’re excited to take you behind the scenes of our recent shoot for L’Oréal Style & Colour Trophy 2024. This competition is a fantastic platform to showcase creativity and talent, and we’re thrilled to have had four of our talented team enter this year!

The amazing entrants for this year include Nicole, Ben, Caitlan and Jess.

On the day of the shoot, we were fortunate to have the incredible Georgie as our makeup artist, adding the perfect touch to each look. We also had Jenna and Ally as our amazing assistants, ensuring everything ran smoothly.

This years theme was “Utopia.” We aimed to create looks that embody an idealistic world where beauty, harmony, and innovation converge. Think ethereal colours, futuristic styles, and a touch of fantasy – a true visual paradise.

Prep began weeks in advance. The team brainstormed, researched, and created mood boards to capture the essence of their personal visualisation of Utopia. We experimented with various colour palettes and styling techniques to ensure each look was unique and breathtaking.

Here’s a peek into what went down on shoot day:

1. Early Start: The team arrived bright and early, ready to transform their models into visions of Utopia.
2. Makeup Magic: Georgie worked her magic, creating stunning, otherworldly makeup looks that perfectly complemented our theme.
3. Utopia Styling: Nicole, Ben, Caitlan, and Jess got to work, each creating their masterpiece.
4. Teamwork is Key: Jenna and Ally ensured everything was in place, from organising tools to assisting with styling – their support was invaluable.
5. Capture the Moment: With models prepped and styled, it was time to capture the magic. Each shot reflected our Utopian vision, with vibrant colours and innovative styles shining through.

The final looks were nothing short of spectacular. Each team member’s unique style and creativity were evident in every shot, and the Utopia theme was brought to life in the most beautiful way possible.

No matter the outcome, we’re incredibly proud of the team’s hard work, creativity, and dedication.
