In-salon treatments for every hair type and concern: bond repair, gloss, metal detox and deep moisture, from $35. Your stylist recommends the right one for your hair on the day and adds it during your appointment.
Your stylist picks the one your hair needs that day
Different problems need different chemistry, and a salon with one treatment on the menu will always recommend that one.
5 brandsKérastase, L’Oréal Professionnel, Oribe, K18 and Innoluxe, so the answer is not always the same one
Perth waterMetal particles from the tap build up inside the hair and react with colour and lightener
Diagnosed, not soldYour stylist reads your hair on the day and recommends what it actually needs
Perth water is a genuine factor here. It is one of the most common reasons a colour looks perfect on the day and shifts within a few weeks. If that sounds like your hair, the diagnostic table below points you at the right service.
Nothing on this page is included in another service, and that is deliberate. Your hair is in a different condition every time you sit in the chair, so your stylist picks the treatment that matches it that day rather than defaulting to the same thing every visit.
You don’t book treatments: your stylist recommends them
Treatments aren’t bookable online and we don’t offer them as a
stand-alone appointment. Every colour, cut and styling appointment at Circles already includes
consultation time, and that is where your stylist looks at your hair properly and tells you which
treatment, if any, is actually worth doing.
So there is nothing to add when you book. Just come in, and tell your stylist what
your hair is doing: it snaps, it goes brassy by week three, it never feels clean, it will not hold a
curl, it is frizzy the second you step outside. The more specific you are, the better the
recommendation. Everything on this page can be added at the basin during the appointment you are
already in.
The exception is our chemical services: perms, QiQi smoothing, keratin relaxing
and permanent straightening. Those are full services in their own right rather than add-ons, and they now
have their own page: perms & smoothing.

What is your hair actually doing?
Treatments are not interchangeable. Find your symptom on the left and you will know what your stylist is likely to recommend, and roughly what it costs, before they say it.
Add-on treatments are applied during an existing colour or cut appointment. Just mention it when you book. The last three rows are chemical services with their own booking and their own page: perms & smoothing. See the full price list.
Add-on treatments
Every in-salon treatment, from $35
Applied at the basin during the appointment you are already in. Ten to twenty minutes, and they change how your hair behaves for weeks. Nothing here is bookable on its own. Your stylist recommends it on the day.

Kérastase Chroma Gloss

Kérastase Ritual
Best for: Anyone who wants the full basin experience rather than a quick add-on.

L’Oréal Absolut Repair Molecular
Best for: Hair damaged by years of colour, where the problem is structural rather than surface.
Rebuilds the peptide structure inside the hair rather than coating the outside. This is the one for hair that feels weak all the way through, not just rough on the ends.

L’Oréal Metal Detox
Best for: Colour that fades fast, turns brassy or lifts unevenly, classic Perth water symptoms.
Metal from tap water builds up inside the hair and reacts with colour and lightener, causing uneven lift and breakage. Metal Detox neutralises it before your colour goes on, so the result you agreed at consultation is the result you leave with.

Perms, smoothing & straightening moved
Perms, QiQi, keratin relaxing and permanent straightening are full services in their own right rather than something added at the basin: different booking, different price, different appointment length. They now have their own page so we can do them justice.
Perms, including men’s perms
The one everyone is asking for right now. Soft, lived-in texture rather than a set curl. Subiaco salon only, and a consultation comes first. From $285.
You should leave knowing why you had the treatment you had, and which one you do not need next time.
01
Diagnosis
Your stylist looks at your hair wet and dry, checks elasticity and porosity, and asks about your water, your heat tools and your home routine.
02
Your stylist’s recommendation
They match the treatment to what your hair needs that day, and tell you what it will do and how long it will hold, before it goes anywhere near the basin.
03
Application
At the basin, during your existing appointment. Ten to twenty minutes for add-ons; chemical services are booked as their own long appointment.
04
The result
You feel the difference on the day, and you should see it hold for weeks, not until your next wash.
05
Home care
Two or three products that actually matter for your hair, not a full shelf. Free salon pickup or free shipping over $150.
Friendly, welcoming and professional. The salon and staff were amazing. First time and Amy immediately had a feel for my hair and what would look good. She blended that with the style and cut I suggested. I left looking forward to the next joyful hair day. Had nothing but compliments on my hair since leaving the salon.

This was my first time going to more of a higher end hairdresser. I had an amazing time! I have never seen my hair in such good condition. I was shocked. I had to drive to my boyfriend's house to show off my hair, I had never seen it so good 😂.
Customer service was great! I had Hannah W as my hairdresser. She is amazing. Came for a consultation, but she reserved time for me to be able to get my hair cut the same day. Got my hair treated and cut. The guy that treated my hair was good, and Hannah did an amazing job at cutting my hair and recommending me products and giving advice on looking after my hair. I would absolutely love to have her again.
You also have the option of having a coffee with your haircut which I of course took the offer up.
Overall, amazing service!
For those that are budgeting however, I would say to be weary of the price. It is on the expensive side. My treatment and haircut cost $270. It won't be the same for every treatment but keep this in mind if you are budgeting.
Other than that, I would highly recommend this place, even as a once off treat. You end up feeling amazing walking out the door 😊.

Fabulous haircut from Tyler, love his creativity and expertise!
Had an amazing first experience. Have never been so relaxed in my whole life than when getting a head massage during my treatment(I can’t remember the name of the girl who did this but she was brilliant!!) Caitlin was amazing at explaining what she was doing and what she had in mind for my hair as I came with no idea what I wanted. She recommended some great products after I told her about what my struggles have been with my hair

It's always a pleasure to get my hair cut with Ali. I always come away feeling a million dollars. Thanks!
The support staff are lovely and their coffee is great.
Before you book
Treatment questions, answered honestly
Which hair treatment do I actually need?
Match the treatment to the problem, not the price. Hair snapping or feeling stretchy after lightening needs bond repair (K18 or Innoluxe). Colour going brassy or dull after a few washes usually means metal build-up from Perth’s water: that is Metal Detox or Kérastase Première. Dry, dull or rough hair needs moisture and cuticle work: Fusio-Dose or Oribe. Faded, flat colour needs gloss: Chroma Gloss. The diagnostic table on this page walks you through it, and your stylist will confirm at your appointment.
How long do in-salon treatments take, and can I add one to another appointment?
Most add-on treatments take 10–20 minutes and are designed to be added to a colour or cut appointment. They happen at the basin while you are already there. Tell us when you book so we allocate the time. Bond-building treatments are mixed into your colour rather than applied afterwards, so they add no time at all.
Are salon treatments actually better than what I can buy for home?
They are different products, not just stronger versions. In-salon treatments use higher active concentrations that need professional application and controlled timing, and several (Fusio-Dose, Première, Metal Detox) are salon-exclusive formulations. A good in-salon treatment resets the hair; the right home-care product then holds that result. You need both, and your stylist will tell you which home product actually matters for your hair rather than selling you the whole shelf.
Does Perth water really affect my hair colour?
Yes. Metal particles in tap water build up inside the hair over time. When lightener or colour is applied over that build-up it reacts, which causes uneven lift, brassiness and breakage. This is the reason a colour can look perfect on day one and shift by week three. A Metal Detox or Kérastase Première service before your colour removes the build-up first.
What about perms, keratin and smoothing, are they treatments?
No, and that distinction matters when you book. Everything on this page is applied at the basin during an appointment you already have. Perms, QiQi, keratin relaxing and permanent straightening are chemical services with their own appointment, their own price and their own aftercare, so they live on their own page: perms & smoothing. Perms are Subiaco salon only.
Should I have a treatment every time?
Ideally, yes. Colour, heat, sun and time all take something out of your hair, and a treatment at the basin is what puts it back. It is the difference between hair that looks good on the day and hair that still looks good in week six. Your stylist looks at your hair at every appointment and recommends the treatment that suits the condition it is in that day, which will not always be the same one.
Book your next appointment: we’ll do the rest
Book your cut or colour as normal. Tell your stylist what your hair is doing when you sit down, and they will recommend the right treatment there and then. After a perm or a smoothing service instead? Those are booked separately: see perms & smoothing.
