Why Circles for a cut
The difference between a good haircut and a great one is not the scissors. It is the ten minutes before them.
Your stylist looks at your hair dry, checks how it grows and where it wants to sit, and asks how much time you will genuinely spend on it. A beautiful shape you cannot recreate at home is not a good haircut.
You choose your stylist level when you book, and that is what sets the price. Every level is trained and assessed inside the same salon, so the process is identical whichever you choose.
Signature haircuts
Signature haircuts maintain the shape you already have. Price is set by the level of stylist you book, not by your hair length. There is no long-hair surcharge. Wash, cut, blow-dry and style are included in every price below.

Best for: Pixies through to chin-length bobs and lobs that need the line kept sharp.
Short hair shows every millimetre, so this is a precision cut: your stylist re-establishes the line, removes the weight that has grown in, and finishes with a blow-dry and style so you leave knowing exactly how the shape sits.

Best for: Hair between the chin and the shoulders that needs shape and movement back.
The awkward length is the one that needs the most thought. Your stylist tailors layering and internal weight removal to your density and texture so the hair moves instead of sitting flat, then blow-dries and styles it to finish.

Best for: Shoulder-length and longer: keeping length while getting rid of the see-through ends.
Long hair does not need to lose length to look thicker. We remove damaged ends, rebuild the internal shape and place layers where they actually add movement, then finish with a blow-dry and style.
Restyles
Restyles are booked with extra chair time because the consultation matters as much as the cut. Bring photos.

Best for: Long to short, a new fringe, heavy layers: any change of shape rather than a maintenance trim.
Booked with extra time for a proper consultation before a single cut is made. We talk through your face shape, hair density, growth patterns and (most importantly) how much time you will realistically spend on it each morning. Then we cut, and we teach you how to style it.
$70 – $80
Best for: A real change: long to short, a first fade, or growing out into a new shape.
For when you want something different rather than the same again. Your stylist maps the shape to your hair’s growth pattern and how you want to wear it day to day, then shows you how to keep it looking sharp between cuts.
Men’s haircuts
Wash, cut and finish included. Available at Subiaco and Fitzgerald.

Best for: Keeping an existing style sharp and clean.
A precision cut that maintains your current shape, plus a wash and finish. Book the same stylist each time and the cut gets faster and more accurate every visit.

Straightforward and comfortable, finished with a wash. If you are shaving for the first time or for a fundraiser, tell us when you book and we will give you a little more time in the chair.

Your stylist looks at your hair dry and worn the way you normally wear it, checks growth patterns and density, and agrees the shape with you, using your photos, not guesswork.
How much time do you spend on your hair on a Tuesday morning? The answer changes what we cut. We would rather give you a shape you can actually maintain.

Before you book
A cut, blow dry and style is $130–$190, a restyle is $165–$250 and men’s cuts are $70–$80. The range reflects the level of the stylist you book: Emerging, Senior, Signature, Expert or Master. Every price includes the consultation, wash, cut and a full blow-dry finish. There is no surcharge for long or thick hair.
A signature haircut maintains the shape you already have: you are keeping the same length and line, just sharpening it. A restyle changes the shape: long to short, adding a fringe, going from one length to heavy layers, or a completely new look. A restyle is booked with more time in the chair because the consultation and the cut itself both take longer.
Short cut and blow dry runs about 45–60 minutes, medium 60–75 minutes, and long hair 75–90 minutes. A restyle is booked at 90 minutes to two hours. Men’s cuts run 30–45 minutes.
Yes, and it usually works out cheaper and faster than two separate visits. Book the colour and let us know you want a cut with it. We will allocate the time and cut after your colour so the shape is finished around the new tone. Same-day cut and colour is the most common booking we take.
Short shapes and fringes need a trim every 4–6 weeks to hold the line. Mid-length hair holds shape for 8–10 weeks. If you are growing your hair out, come every 10–12 weeks for a dusting: removing the split ends keeps length growing instead of breaking off.
Yes. Curly, coily and wavy hair is cut with the curl pattern in mind, not against it, and we will talk through how you wear and dry your hair before we start so the shape works on wash-and-go days as well as styled days.
Photos. Two or three of shapes you like and, just as usefully, one or two you do not. Come with your hair worn the way you normally wear it so your stylist can see how it actually falls. If you are considering a big change and want to think it over first, book a cut and style consultation. It is redeemable against your service or products.
Yes. Men’s haircut, men’s restyle and head shave are all on the menu, at both Subiaco and Fitzgerald. Men’s cuts include the wash and finish, same as everything else.
